The Marking should be affixed to one of the following:

• the product itself

• the packaging of the product

• the instructions for use

• the guarantee certificate

In 5th April 2017, in response to the EEC requirements (MDR 2017/745) for non-European manufacturers to appoint a European Authorized Representative for CE-Mark communications and regulatory need.
Therefore it is recommended that manufacturer appoint a "third party" to act as his/her EU Authorized Representative.
